Flash Video Download
There are many softwares, extensions, plugins and addons or even websites that allow you to snatch flash videos most importantly youtube videos. But actually theres a continent method to download these videos. Simply wait for the player to load the video completely and then go to following path in your computer,
- Firefox
- goto C:\Documents and Settings\<your profile name here>\Local Settings\Temp
- and locate a file that begins with fla***.tmp, sorting based on most recently created / modified file with a considerable size file (depends on the duration of the video usually couple of megabytes)
- copy paste it somewhere else and thats your video (just make sure you dont close the browser with the loaded video until you copy it)
- Chrome
- goto C:\Documents and Settings\<your profile name here>\Local Settings\Application Data\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Cache
- and sort files based on most recently created / modified file with a relevant file size (depends on the duration of the video usually couple of megabytes)
- copy paste it somewhere else and thats your video (just make sure you dont close the browser with the loaded video until you copy it)
Oasis is one tough headset
I've been using a Sony Ericsson PV-702 bluetooth headset which i brought couple of years ago and it was just fine although now it looks a bit bulky and a chunk of plastic from a distance. But nothing to complain because its an outdated model. This is until one day i start looking for the small fella and realise its not to be found anywhere. After looking for it everywhere possible it occurred to me may be i didn't take it off the pocket this is of course after a day or so and to see it was there in the pocket but of course it has been washed and dried also, i knew there was no way its was gonna work but gave it a shot and realized i was right.So now i start looking for another headset because until you lose it you wont realize how difficult life without a handsfree and checked out Motorola website to see if they have anything interesting because their accessories are usually better than cheap plastic ones Nokia, Sony Ericsson and Samsung mostly have to offer and voila i find Oasis with good set of features and decide to go ahead a buy although its a bit pricy.
So why am i writing this? because i tend not to learn from the mistakes and keep repeating them, guess what the new fella also has to go through another roller coaster ride in the washing machine just after couple of days. I take the damn thing out from the washing machine and it was socking wet and was giving a one last try by trying to dry it using a hair dryer and then kept it for few days. Just to make sure before i switch it on back i placed it in a bowl of rice since rise tend to be work like silica absorb humid.
Finally i switch it on and wohoo! it works, it a tough son-of-a-b**** and works perfectly alright as if nothing ever happened. its got so many tiny holes but surprisingly it works. Now im not sure whether it was rice that did the trick or its the way this headset is built but end of the day its all good news. Much to my joy i decide to write Motorola and let them know, find the reply after the break.

Sony Ericsson's mini Saga Continues and Less Hope for Older mini's
Just when you think may be they are done with the mini's and it was not well received by many last year due to its small form factor, SE proves us wrong. New mini's have been introduced,
although this time they've refrained from using the flagship phones name also in it (X10 mini / X10 mini pro) this time its just mini and mini pro and no sign of Arc in it. Sony Ericsson jump started with Gingerbread for all the phones announced this year and mini's are also getting the same treat, either way theres really not that much difference compared to the previous twin other than better hardware which is usually expected of something that comes a year late.
which posses a question does it mean previous mini's will be stuck in 2.1 forever o_O they made a small announcement in their blog recently saying other than X10 others (X10 mini, X10 mini pro and X8) will not be getting anymore updates. However, at that point the new mini's were not introduced therefore there is still some hope they'll make use of the new UI been developed for the new minis will be passed down to older minis like they did for X10.
at the recent Google I/O they also went on to be partners to follow Google's Android update policy which says updates will be released for 18 months after the a phone is released if hardware supports. Which means ideally they should but of course as always this is something they signed up recently and one can look at it and say plans have already been finalized.
right now only thing we can do is ask to them to consider and not abandon bunch of mini holders and move on, if you're wondering what can you do about this feel free to visit their announcement regarding X10 Gingerbread update and write in the comments section or post something on SE facebook discussions board and let them know about frustrated customers.
